Who is God? God is SOVEREIGN: Daniel 4.17b; Daniel 2.20-22

That they may know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth. – Psalm 83.18

Why do I care? God is sovereign - in control of all things. He has a plan (Romans 8.28) – everything is under His control and design. When I try to take matters into my own hands or worry about anything, it is sin. I must not only acknowledge that God is sovereign, but I must also trust Him to work all things together for my good – my being molded into the image of His Son. I can trust God with the small details of my life as well as the large details – He is in control and sovereign over all things!
