Here is a top ten list (well, actually top twelve) of your favorite verses

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

{3} Shondra Walker shared Psalm 27:

Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. {verse 14}

{5} Lindy (our giveaway winner) and Amy @ A Faithful Journey both shared Jeremiah 29.11:

‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

{6} Kristi G shared Colossians 3:

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. {verse 1}

{7} Kelly Ma shared Romans 8.28:

{10} Melissamcnicol shared Proverbs 3.5-6:

Meaningful words.

…and because I don’t want to leave anyone out…

{11} Starbuckaholic shared Jeremiah 6.16:

Thus says the LORD, “Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

{12} Tmmeverden69 shared Matthew 7.1-2:

Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.

Thanks to all who shared their favorite verses! What’s your favorite verse?

    It’s great to read everyone’s favourite verses, I love it how they are all different – shows how God made us so individual! My favourite is ‘It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect’ Psalm 18:32 because it makes me not worry so much about how hard it is to become better, as God helps us!

      I agree! What a blessing to have such a variety of encouragement and challenge as God has wired each of us differently AND as He is working in each of our lives in unique ways!

    I love reading other’s favorite verses, too. Though I can never really pick one favorite anyway, I love how the verse that comes to mind as “a favorite” changes depending on circumstances, day, week, etc.

    Two of my favorites:

    Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

    Hebrews 4:15 – “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”

      Yes! I have often been asked to give a “favorite” verse throughout my life, and yet, my “favorite” depends on the season of life in which I find myself. Thank you for sharing some of your favorites!

    Many Scriptures move me, touch me and embrace me deeply – hard to say which is my favorite, but for this season, I would say Romans 8:1 speaks loudest: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Glory to God for all Scriptures!

      Romans 8.1 is a verse that makes me want to sing praises to God each and every time I hear or read it. PRAISE God for His amazing gift of salvation!!
