“True grace brings true obedience,
and obedience is a testimony to the presence of grace.”

It’s “funny” – the way God works. I have a blogging schedule that I follow – a plan of which posts/topics I am going to write and what days I am going to write them. I try to plan out a month of posts at a time {minimum}, and I have “prompts” that I use to remind me what I planned to write about each day.
This week, I had “scheduled” my review of Grace for the Good Girl on Tuesday because of the blog book tour that I was participating in with to promote the book. I scheduled this weeks ago. Then, when I was filling in my empty days for September with prompts, I pulled out some quotes I’d highlighted from a book I read last year, and I randomly assigned the quotes to various days throughout the month.
It just so happened that today’s “randomly assigned” quote had to do with grace – and how true grace brings true obedience.
How fitting, since yesterday’s post was about a book that is helping me to identify the difference between true obedience and masked obedience in my own life. A book that is calling me to accept God’s grace in my life – to come out from behind the mask of the “good girl” and to allow my weakness to shine through so that God’s strength might be seen.
How about you? Is true grace present in YOUR life?
Have you let go of your “good girl” mask and allowed God’s grace to permeate your life?
Share your thoughts in the comments…

{P.S. Grace for the Good Girl will be the “book of the month” for November and December on LIFE by Ashley Pichea – won’t you join us in reading and discussing this book together each Wednesday?}
