Living by faith. It’s an “easy” concept to talk about, but a “hard” concept to live out. It’s interesting to me that this concept keeps “popping up” lately.
Our pastor has been doing a series on faith the past two months (the sermon a few weeks ago was on this specific topic of living by faith) and then one day last week my Bible reading was about living out your faith.
Living By Faith
We’ve been “living by faith” in an intense way for the last year plus, and some times I find myself wanting “off the faith train.” It can be so draining for this control freak to not know what the immediate future holds.
Lately, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the lack of details about our future. Even where we will be living a month from now. I’m trying to plan for all the foreseeable possibilities, but it is taking a toll on me emotionally.
And yet, I’m going to keep trusting God. Because when I trust God and follow His lead one step at a time, the blessings are beyond comprehension.
And so, I continue to live by faith, challenging myself not to get comfortable or complacent, but always ready to follow my Savior wherever He leads.
