Precious Moments Storybook Bible {Review and Giveaway}

Precious Moments "Together is The Nicest Place To Be" Figurine

Growing up, we had hundreds of Precious Moments figurines in our home, as my mom was an avid collector of all things Precious Moments. As a result, I fell in love with Precious Moments from an early age. There is just something so lovable and endearing about Sam Butcher’s illustrations and figurines!

Precious Moments Storybook BibleWhen I saw that Tommy Nelson had published a Precious Moments Storybook Bible, I immediately wanted to share it with my own kids. What a fun way to share part of my childhood with them!

With stories retold from the International Children’s Bible and illustrations from Sam Butcher, the Precious Moments Storybook Bible is a book you’ll treasure, too!

Thanks to Tommy Nelson, you have a chance to win a copy! Simply leave me a comment below (along with a way to contact you if you win) telling me something from your childhood that you’d like to share with your children!

{Giveaway is open to those in the contiguous U.S. only, due to shipping costs. Winner will be drawn at random and announced on 1/16/11.}

Thanks to Tommy Nelson for providing a copy of this book for review and giveaway.

    Woot! This would be PERFECT for our daily Bible time!
    Something from my childhood I'd like to share with my children – making stained glass Christmas tree ornaments that we melted in the oven. Oh – and SHRINKY DINKS!

    My mom also loved Precious Moments things. I have a younger sister who is 14 years younger than me. My mom decked her room out with Precious Moments items-from the blankets, to the pictures on the wall, to the decals on the dresser.

    Because of her love for Precious Moments, I also have a certain affinity toward them, although I haven't bought anything yet for my child that is precious moments.

    I'd love to continue this tradition with my children.

    Thank you for this giveaway!

    I was raised Hindu and has recently found Christianity. One thing I would like to share from my childhood with my daughter is "precious moments". My family was always close and loving even though we didn't have a lot of money or spend a lot of time together (my single mom worked long hours). Now I am a SAHM, and I relish every moment with my daughter. We go to church on Sundays, and we study the bible. This bible would be so wonderful for her, she's 5, and I know she would appreciate and adore it.
