My Week in Review {10.12.12}

In my life this week…

I’ve been SO tired this week {and last}, taking multiple days on some days. The announcement I made on Tuesday *might* explain why.

This month, I’ve been participating in the “31 Days” blogging challenge by posting a daily snapshot of our “real life.” Click any picture to see that day’s post.

In our homeschool this week…

Surprisingly, even with my lack of energy, we’ve managed to stay fairly on-track with homeschool. I’ve been doing a lot of “teaching” from the couch instead of at the kitchen table.

Jenny seems to be doing much better with her focus and diligence this week – we actually completed almost all of our daily tasks in a timely manner this week!

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

Last weekend, we met J’s family up in Shipshewana. It was a great weekend of family togetherness and learning about Amish culture.

We also had a good time playing in the waterpark at Splash Universe!

My favorite thing this week was…

J sent me a text on his way home from work on Tuesday night and offered to bring home Chinese take-out for dinner. It’d been awhile since we’d had Chinese, and I hadn’t planned anything for dinner. It was a nice treat!

I’m reading…

I’ve been reading up a storm lately! While I haven’t reviewed all the books I’ve been reading, I posted these reviews this week.

I’m grateful for…

My online friends are such a blessing to me {as well as my offline friends}. It’s a special blessing to share my life with you all!

I’m praying for…

Since this month is Pastor Appreciation Month, I’ve been trying to be intentional about praying for my pastor. 31 Days to Pray for Your Pastor is a great help when I’m at a loss as to what I should pray.

A photo, video, link, or quote to share…

And now, a little video from me to you.
