Mom Connection {book review}

{From the Publisher}

Hey, Mom–so when was the last time you had an uninterrupted conversation?

Parenting young children is an all-consuming task that can make you feel disconnected and, honestly, a bit fragmented. But having kids shouldn’t mean you rarely get to complete a conversation with a friend! In this witty, encouraging book, Tracey Bianchi shows us how to

  • cultivate deeper friendships that challenge us to grow
  • create healthy, life-giving rhythms for our families
  • connect and give back to the wider world beyond our doors

If you’ve ever sat back exasperated and thought, “There has got to be a better way to do this mothering thing,” then let this conversation with Tracey on friendship, connection, and the rhythms of our lives begin to shape your heart.

Mom Connection by Tracey Bianchi

{My Thoughts}

I know what it’s like to be in the midst of motherhood – I’m there right now! It’s hard to overcome all the obstacles {kids, time, messy house, fear of rejection, etc.} in order to have meaningful connections with other moms. It takes intentionality and work!

Tracey Bianchi knows this too – she understands what it means to be a mom in today’s world. But she isn’t satisfied with doing the mommy-gig solo – and you shouldn’t be either. Tracey invites you to join her as she breaks down the barriers and seeks to create vibrant relationships with other moms in the midst of the chaos we call motherhood.

With short, easy-to-read chapters, Mom Connection is a great gift for any mom. Each chapter ends with five “Mom-Tested Tips” to help readers implement what they’ve just read. There is also a “space to reflect” at the end of each chapter to jot down thoughts you might have as you read, as well as a section of resources related to the chapter.

Whether you have five minutes or two hours – you’ll be able to make time to not only read this helpful book but apply the tips gleaned as well.
