My Week in Review {09.21.12}

In my life this week…

For a “short” week {we were gone all last weekend}, it’s been a busy week!

Monday was busy running around town – piano and library.

Tuesday was busy with school and working 10 hours – it was a LONG day.

I spent most of the day on Wednesday cuddling a little man who was feeling under the weather…

Thursday was a “slow” day as I managed to stay in bed ‘til almost noon and then spent most of the afternoon working.

In our homeschool this week…

I feel like we didn’t get much school done this week, since we only managed to do school two days…

Jenny wrote, edited, and revised a story about David.

We spent time memorizing Scripture for AWANA and to help with some discipline/attitude issues that are plaguing our house.

Jenny did a week’s worth of math.

I guess we did get quite a bit accomplished – I don’t feel so bad now!

I’m cooking…

I’ve started trying to stick to a meal plan {for dinner}, and I’m two weeks in with only one “failure” {i.e. having Chinese takeout}. This week I made two amazing dishes that were super easy and inexpensive: Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and Meatloaf Muffins.

Both were amazing, and I’ll be sure to share the recipes soon!!

Have you missed my weekly vlogs? I’m hoping to make them a regular feature on the blog again, starting this week with Letting Kids Lead – Crafts with Kids.
