Train Up a Child
Teaching my kids to get into the Word of God on a regular basis and to hide His Word in their hearts is one of my highest priorities as a mom, so I absolutely love it when a resource comes along that the kids will not put down!
The minute that Jenny and David saw the new Hide & Seek Devotional from Tommy Nelson, they began begging me to look at it and read it.
David immediately identified it as “the Jesus book with the Ark” and wanted to find Bible stories in it that he knows.
Jenny’s first question was, “Can I do this as part of my school?” {We start each morning in the Word in our homeschool.}
They are both excited to dig into the Word of God – seeking the Lord and hiding His Word in their hearts – using the Hide & Seek Devotional as our guide.
What I love about Tommy Nelson’s Hide & Seek Devotional
- Attractive colors and graphics draw kids and parents alike.
- 52 verses {26 from each testament} using the letters of the alphabet to help cement Truth in my kids’ hearts.
- Each verse not only include a four-page layout of Scripture, devotional, and prayer, but has a downloadable song {based on the Scripture} and narration {by Kirk Cameron}.
- The content is perfect for both of my kids {geared towards ages 4-8}.
- Application of the Scripture is included in each section.
