Dinosaurs for kids
Recently, we’ve discovered the non-fiction section in the Children’s Department at our local library, and David has been pulling books about dinosaurs for kids off the shelves. Since he’s still a pre-reader, I’m not too concerned with him pulling “questionable” books off the shelves, but when Jenny gets a hold of the books and starts reading them, I start to look for resources that will help me to counter the evolutionist “facts” that these books contain.
We LOVE Master Books
When I need a solid, biblically-based book on dinosaurs for kids, I know from experience that I can count on Master Books to have what I need.
In the past, I’ve pulled our copies of Dinosaurs for Kids and The Wonders of God’s World: Dinosaurs {activity book} off the bookshelf to find the facts. But as great as these books are for older kids {age 8+}, they didn’t really connect with Jenny and David’s interest level.
D is for Dinosaur from Master Books
When Master Books introduced D is for Dinosaur {in the flipbook style as A is for Adam that I love}, I was beyond excited to get my hands on a copy!
Why I love D is for Dinosaur
While the kids have their reasons for loving this book, I have a few of my own:
- kid-friendly cartoon graphics
- detailed teacher’s lesson plans
- fun sing-song rhyme
- flipbook style
- young earth Creation viewpoint
- biblically-based truths
- downloadable coloring pages for each lesson
D is for Dinosaur is a resource that belongs on every parent’s bookshelf!
