Over the past several months, I’ve been evaluating and comparing different homeschool curriculum to use with Jenny next fall. I found a number of options in the world of homeschool curriculum, and I was starting to feel overwhelmed with all the options.
They all looked good, and each had unique qualities I liked.
I knew if I continued to evaluate and research, I’d only discover more curriculum that would work for us. And being an indecisive person, I set myself a deadline. Using the 3in30 Challenge to keep me accountable, I declared that I would pick and order a curriculum for this fall no later than the end of this month.
And last week, I did just that!
How did I end up choosing? I went with a company that had reached out to me as a person – not just as a customer.
- Ryan from AOP has gone out of his way over the past year to connect with me as an individual – he has answered questions I’ve had (non-related to homeschooling), has championed my faith-based blog, and has become a good friend on Twitter.
- Debbie from AOP just (literally while I was typing that last sentence) called to follow-up with me about the partial order I have waiting in my account on AOP.com.
I have nothing but GREAT things to say about AOP, and I can’t wait to dig into their curriculum with Jenny this fall!
So what will be doing?
- AOP Horizons Math, Grade 1
- AOP Horizons Penmanship, Grade 1
- AOP Horizons Phonics and Reading, Grade 1
- AOP Horizons Spelling and Vocabulary, Grade 1
