{My Thoughts}:
I was in love with this book from page one!! I love a good WWII story, and this one did NOT disappoint. From fast-paced action, to relationship issues, to an intense storyline, Chasing Mona Lisa had all the right ingredients for a great read.
Though this book was not advertised as a sequel, its continuation of the story of Gabi Mueller and Eric Hofstadler {characters originally introduced in The Swiss Courier} was a pleasant surprise for me. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these characters develop both as individuals and as a romantic couple.
Also, I very much enjoyed the historical details of the book – from the people to the places to the atmosphere and the interactions of characters – the details were a huge factor in making this story a success.
I give Chasing Mona Lisa five out of five stars.
