Caffeinated Conversations {2.18.11}

Caffeinated Conversations have returned!!!

I know I’ve certainly missed doing them, and based on the emails and tweets I’ve received, I think some of you have missed them as well!

This week’s vlog is short and sweet - I forgot to switch SD cards in my camera so I only had three minutes of record time available. Topics include:

If you noticed at the beginning of the vlog, I mentioned that I was going to tell you about some exciting blog news. In my focus to talk fast, I forgot (that’s how quickly my brain forgets important stuff)!
So what’s the exciting news?!? Next month, I’m moving! I’ve purchased my hosting and I’m working on getting ready to move from Blogger to WordPress. Hopefully this will be a smooth transition, but in case of any bumps along the way, I’d implore you to please be patient with me. The layout and look will be a work-in-progress for a few months, but the content will hopefully be able to continue without interruption.

Alright, time for you to join the conversation… what encouraging words have you come across this month? Would you share them in the comments below??

This post is being linked up at Company Girls Coffee, 3in30, Hello Mornings, Caffeinated Randomness, Gather Inspirit, and possibly others.

    Yeah! Loved seeing your face and hearing your voice today. I know about scheduling the social office time. This is something that I've been thinking about, how to schedule time in my life so that I can get some computer stuff done and maybe start some serious writing.

    I've considered moving my blog to WordPress as well, but it sounds too exhausting…. especially after just moving in "real life." haha! Good luck! I hope it goes well. :)

    Good luck with your blog move — I've seen other blogs do it. . .maybe you can pass along any hints/tips you get along the way?? I know a lot of bloggers have made the move. . .what is your main reason? Just curious. . .

    Good luck with the change…I've heard good things about WordPress. Nice chatting with you today. :)

    Hey, I'm on WordPress… the only two bloggers I knew (besides Rachel) were on it, so I gave their freebie version a whirl. I like it but have nothing to compare it to.

    Now, if only you could be my neighbor geographically, too!

    Love your vlogs. Good job with keeping up with the Max Your Morning challenge. I am about half and half with that because the kids were not well, and now I'm not well. Those mornings that did work out were fantastic! I just did a quick glance at blogger and wordpress when I decided to move from xanga which I blogged at for 4 years, and blogger seemed kind of complicated, so we used wordpress and we like it a lot. So many more themes have been created since then, too bad they didn't exist when we first started because they have gotten much better. Have a good move.
