I'm like you — they all kind of run together! But now, some of my favorite memories are the ones I'm making with my kids. We have Jesus' birthday party on Christmas Eve after church!

Memory in a nutshell…my little sister waking us up early, sitting by the space heater (haha…we had central heating but it would take forever to warm up the big house, so we opted for the space heater), taking turns opening gifts. I'm not big on the gifts (because I hate shopping), and I'd like to make it more about Jesus. My daughter is actually the one that wants to celebrate Jesus' birthday (I think it's because of the cake ;) hehe), but she really likes listening to the story. Driving around different neighborhoods looking at lights was fun too.

I'm not a fan of shopping either (though I'm starting to enjoy shopping online!!)…

Well, I talked abt my favourite memory over at my blog but as I listened to yours it reminded me of how creative my oldest two children always were and how they used to entertain us with little concerts and plays. Thanks for the reminder!

We always had so much fun putting on "productions" with our cousins growing up! We all grew up "across the field," with Grandma and Grandpa living on the corner, so we had a number of family gathering through the years. Thanks for sharing your memory!

Thanks for sharing Ashley. I love the puppet idea. I should do it with my kids. I'll be sharing next week my favourite Christmas memories. There are many so I'm trying to think of the Top 3.

It's been funny to listen to my kids play this week. Yesterday, I snuck up the stairs and witnessed them playing "stockings." They had each taken off one sock and were filling them with toys!
