“And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities’.”

We all long to hear the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant,” when we stand before the BEMA seat of Christ, awaiting our rewards for having lived a life pleasing to God here on earth.
Just this morning, God brought to mind the issue of stewardship, challenging me whether I was living intentionally by faith everyday in regard to my finances. I started to contemplate whether biblical stewardship was an issue I struggled with, or if perhaps I should be sharing about it on the blog.
I feel like God is leading me to go deeper – to give more and be more intentional about my spending.
I have been contemplating multiple options for additional giving recently, and I think it might be time to “take the plunge” and “give until it hurts.” I’m going to be praying about what this will look like – how I will give, to whom I will give, etc. – and I’ll report back soon.
