3in30 Weekly Linkup {Week One – April 2011}

A new month brings a new challenge, and the month of April brings some changes to the 3in30 Challenge.

Throughout the month of April, we will be making some transitions – some exciting, some bittersweet – and we want to let you in behind-the-scenes today!

{#1} Due to an overwhelming “YES!!” response to our question about whether or not you’d like a weekly newsletter emailed to you, we are hard at work figuring out all the details to pull that off.

We’re working on determining the how, what, why, when, etc., and we hope to have it available to you before the month’s end!

{#2} At the end of the month, Meghan will be stepping away from being a co-host of the 3in30 Challenge.

After evaluating her current commitments and finding herself on the short end of “number of hours left in the day,” Meghan has chosen to focus on her family and her other commitments, leaving Ashley to host the 3in30 Challenge on her own. We will miss Meghan, but we wish her well and cheer her on as she seeks to trade the “good” for the “best” in refocusing her energies on more important areas of her life!

{#3} The 3in30 Challenge is going to have its own home!

Currently, as we’ve been co-hosting this challenge, we’ve been duplicating our efforts each week with having multiple posts for our linkups and resource page. However, with Meghan’s transition away from the challenge, we will be moving to a “new home,” having all the information and linkups in one central location… more details to come in the next few weeks!

{#4} We know that not all of you share your weekly progress on a blog, but we want to know that you’re out there so we can connect with you and encourage you!

We’d like ALL of our April participants to fill out this quick survey to let us know that you’re “in” this month:

{If you don’t see a form embedded in the post, click here to access it. Thanks!}

We want to encourage you to encourage others this week through our link up – make sure to stop by at least one other blog that is listed below in the link up and give a little love!

{For those new to the 3in30 Challenge, we have a weekly linkup that goes live on Thursday nights at 10pm EST and continues through Sunday at 1am EST. If you don’t have a blog, or don’t want to post on your blog, feel free to just comment with your progress for the week!}

How Do You Link Up?

  1. Write a blog post sharing your April 3in30 Goals, and add the direct link to your post (not your blog’s home page) below.
  2. Comment on at least the person above you in the link up, and let them know you’re coming by from 3in30.

Looking to stay connected?

  1. Add the 3in30 button to your blog. {You can find the code on either hostess’ blog.}
  2. Like” the 3in30 Challenge Facebook Page
  3. Follow @3n30 on Twitter

      I am also new to the 3 in 30 Challenge. I found you at your party. I didn’t realize I wasn’t eligible, because I didn’t post that I was coming the party. Oops. I’ve learned a lot about Twitter in the less than two weeks that I have seriously started to use it.

      My 3 goals for April:
      1. Continue the Baby Steps as set forth in Fly Lady. Marla Cilley is an inspiration to me. I’ve been trying to FLY for 10 years now. Not so good at it. Trying again. Should be done with Baby Steps before the month is over. I am really good at getting dressed to the shoes and shining a sink. It’s consistency that is my problem.
      2. Figure out what to blog about and blog. I’m afraid of not doing it right and have had some horrific experiences blogging before. At least will blog about my progress with FLYing and with my journey through the Blogging through the Gospels, run by Amy Gross. I can’t wait for it to start on Monday.
      3. Keep up with Blogging through the Gospels readings. I got way behind in reading the Bible in 90 days, but I still finished ahead of time, even if only slightly.

      I’m jumping in on the 3 in 30 Challenge too! I don’t have a blog, so I’ll post my goals here:
      1. Go to bed by 10:30
      2. Wake up at 5:45 for my time with God
      3. Memorize Isaiah 40
      Glad to work on some goals and have some accountability.

    I’m in!

    My goals:
    * be in the Word EVERY day
    * get our financial papers organized in a way that we can keep using as we go forward
    * have laundry necessities put away before the week begins – socks, undershirts, etc.
